Gina Cirimele

Experience

Gina Cirimele is a full-time Lead Trainer at WEST (World Embryology Skills & Training), where she works closely with students to develop the hands-on skills and confidence needed to succeed in the IVF lab. She began her career in embryology in 2012 after completing the embryology program at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and has since built a strong foundation in reproductive biology, laboratory techniques, and clinical training.

Gina is known for her patient, hands-on approach and for providing steady guidance that helps students feel comfortable and confident as they learn. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of embryologists and is recognized for her patient, supportive teaching style and commitment to helping each student succeed.

In addition to her role at WEST, Gina is actively involved in the reproductive medicine community. She currently serves on the board of the Southern California Association of Reproductive Biologists (SCARB), previously served on the NCARB board, and is a member of ASRM and AAB. She is also a certified College of American Pathologists (CAP) Laboratory Inspector.
