Gina Cirimele holds a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Cal Poly SLO and serves as a full-time trainer at WEST. With a Technical Supervisor license in embryology and andrology from the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB), Gina possesses a comprehensive skill set essential to the field of reproductive biology. Her embryology career started in 2011 after completing the embryology program at Cal Poly SLO.
In addition to her training role, Gina is active in the field of reproductive medicine, including serving on the board of the Northern California Association of Reproductive Biologists (NCARB) a member of the Southern California Association of Reproductive Biologists (SCARB) and maintaining active memberships ASRM, AAB, and PCRS. Gina is also recognized as a College of American Pathologists (CAP) lab inspector, ensuring the highest standards of quality and care in laboratory practices.
Passionate about both the science of embryology and helping patients achieve their fertility goals, Gina finds fulfillment in empowering the next generation of embryologists, providing them with the skills and confidence to excel in the field. Known for her patience and perseverance, Gina is the go-to person for training within her team, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Beyond the laboratory, Gina enjoys indulging in her hobbies, which include baking, attending concerts, and spending quality time with her beloved hound dog. Driven by a commitment to excellence and a genuine passion for her work, Gina continues to make contributions to the field of reproductive biology, both professionally and personally.
